Change

President John F. Kennedy once said, “Change is the law of life. And those who only look to the past or the present are certain to miss the future.” In President Kennedy’s statement, the word “only” is what resonates with me. If we only focus on the past and present, we will miss future opportunities. If our focus is only on the future, we miss lessons from the past and opportunities in the present. While the current market conditions are challenging, we need to remind ourselves that challenging, does not equate to bad. 

We are all fortunate to be a part of an organization that historically has embraced challenging markets with culture, innovation, and work ethic. We have the tools, we have the people, and we have the ability to take on this current challenge and grow market share, while other companies sit back and try holding their breath until a normalized market returns. I look forward to breathing normally while we create opportunities in the present and the future!
